Sabino Canyon Hiking Event

Event Details

• What: WID Arizona Group Hike (All skill levels welcome!)

• When: Sunday, November 9th at 8:00 AM

• Where: Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Tucson

• Meeting Spot: Please meet us near the main Visitor Center entrance area. We will start the trail at around 8:00 AM. The trail will be roughly 3 miles long.

This social event is open to current members, prospective members, and guests. It’s a fantastic, informal way to expand your professional circle and enjoy the camaraderie of the WID community.

Important Logistics & What to Bring

Please ensure you are prepared for an early-morning desert hike:

1. Water: Bring plenty of water (at least 2 liters is recommended).

2. Attire: Wear comfortable hiking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and appropriate clothing for hiking.

3. Parking: There is a fee required to enter Sabino Canyon ($8 at the time of this email), so please plan accordingly.
